Planned with care, handled with integrity, our booking and cancellation policy reflects our deep commitment to responsible travel

At Ekathra Experiences, every journey is carefully curated in collaboration with local communities, artisans, and service providers. We understand that travel plans may change, and we’re committed to supporting our guests with fairness and clarity.

However, as many of our experiences involve advance payments to local hosts, accommodations, and logistical partners, our cancellation fee helps cover these non-refundable commitments. This ensures that those who depend on tourism for their livelihood are treated with dignity and fairness, even when plans shift.

We thank you for your understanding and support in co-creating a more mindful and sustainable travel experience.

Booking Policy

1. A 50% advance payment of the total package price is required at the time of booking confirmation.

2. The remaining 50% must be paid no later than 7 days prior to the arrival date.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation by Ekathra:
  In the rare event that Ekathra must cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances such as adverse weather conditions, pandemics, or issues with service providers, a full refund of the booking amount will be provided.

• Cancellation by the Guest:

1. Cancellation from Guest’s side, 60 days before the tour start date: A cancellation charge of 10% of the total package price will be retained and rest of the amount will be refunded.

2. Cancellation from Guest’s side, 30 days before the tour start date: A cancellation charge of 25% of the total package price will be retained and the rest of the amount will be refunded.

3. Cancellation from Guest’s side, 15 days -7 days before the tour start date: A cancellation charge of 50% of the total package price will be retained and rest of the amount will be refunded.

4. Cancellation from Guest’s side, 7 days -48 hours before the tour start date: A cancellation charge of 90% of the total package price will be retained and rest of the amount will be refunded.

5. Cancellation within 48 Hours of tour start date: There will be No refund.

OUR LIABILITIES & LIMITATIONS: Please note that after the booking confirmation, if there are any Hike in entrance fees of monuments / museums/ eco-tourism centres etc; taxes, fuel cost or guide charges – by the State or Central government or local authorities, the same would be charged as extra.
